‘Sometimes I think love is the greatest thing two people can do together. And sometimes I think it's a half decent way to pass the time.’

Ronnie and Isla are not the world’s first lesbians. In fact, they are just like every lesbian ever. They met. They fell in love. And suddenly it's five years later and sitting in the same room feels like their worst idea yet. 

‘If Not Tomorrow’ follows two women through the perpetual rain that encompasses the duration of their relationship. 
Set to the overture of Sappho’s poetry, the play explores the true timelessness of lesbian break ups. 

Originally written by Lucy Hall for her undergraduate degree, the piece was developed in association with Gatecrashing Theatre.
