The beloved tale of Coppélia now dances down a darker path…
“Hear me now, and open up your eyes…”

Delve into the mesmerising world of The Girl With The Enamel Eyes. A tragicomic, one act spin of Arthur Saint-Léon’s captivating 1870’s ballet, Coppélia; brought to new life by Emmy Khan, and given its wings through this darkly original, musical resurrection.
When the young, and more-than-hopeless romantic, Franz, first sets eyes on the mysterious girl up on the balcony of Dr Coppélius’ workshop, it’s as if his very soul calls out to her! He has to see her again! From that moment, Franz is undeniably sure this girl will change his life. But what he doesn’t yet realise is how that change may not necessarily be for the better…
Allow yourself to be taken by the hand of Baba, our story’s grim narrator, as she guides you through this cautionary tale of blind love and false perfection. The heart may see what it wants, but what is left to look at once the dream is stripped away?
Dare you come along with us for this musical love story that beats with a dark heart? Let The Girl With The Enamel Eyes whisk you away in this unforgettable theatrical experience.
